The Ninja Blender Review and Overview
Two Blenders Named Ninja – One Review
We have something unusual for you here and that is two product reviews on the same page. Why you may ask? Well both these blenders are named Ninja blender and it just seemed appropriate that we cover both machines in the same place, to eliminate any confusion between the two. They’re both interesting blenders and depending on what you are trying to accomplish we’re sure one of them will be perfect for you.
The Ninja Master Prep Blender
First up we have the Ninja Master Prep Blender. This is a compact blender that comes with three pitcher sizes included, a 16 ounce, 40 ounce and 48 ounce. The true beauty of this blender comes from the fact that the blending is accomplished by an interchangeable head. This head comes with all the blades attached and inserts into the supplied pitcher of your choosing, when the blending and chopping are completed you simply remove the head and the blades come out with it. The pitcher can then be used for storing any leftover food.
The Master Prep is excellent for making smoothies, frozen margaritasNo Mixers for Frozen Margaritas? Try a Smuckerita!. Read more ... » and just about anything else that needs blending. The Ninja Master Prep blends items smoothly and uniformly and eliminates the mush you may experience with other blenders. One word of warning though, some customers have reported that the blades on this blender are some of the sharpest they have ever encountered, so it would be advised to keep small fingers away from them.
The Ninja by Euro
This next Ninja is a major powerhouse providing over 1000 W of blending power. This power is combined with a 6-blade technology that makes it capable of blending just about anything, and I do mean anything short of rocks of course. The blender also has a very generous 72 ounce pitcher that features a lock in lid and a flip up pour spout. The control panel offers pulse blending as well as three constant speeds that will allow you to plow through your most arduous blending tasks.
One of the real pluses that this blender offers is the fact that there is no rubber gasket to clean and reinstall, making it an obviously superior design to most blenders. One other thing to consider with this blender is that it comes very close to the same class as a Vitamix blender and at a price that is about $300 less. Just to point out how powerful this Ninja blender is one customer reported pureeing chicken meat with the bones still in, for his dog of course, with no problem whatsoever.
Pros and Cons
As with all blenders you have to make a decision as to where your trade off point is. The Ninja Master Prep is a small, compact and extremely convenient blender, but the power level is not much different than most other blenders, which is 450 W. The Master Prep excels because of its super sharp blade configuration and it does it at a price under $75.00.
The Ninja by Euro on the other hand provides all the power you can possibly want at 1000 W and a six blade stack to make blending a breeze. A single drawback to this machine is that the blades sit on a rod in the pitcher and must be removed prior to pouring any drink. A small drawback to be sure, but something you might want to remember in your evaluation.
Want Picture Perfect Smoothies? This Isn’t For You.
If you’re looking for a blender to make picture perfect smoothies, then neither of these blenders is for you. Why? That is because of what they are and that is blenders, and blenders grind and chop. This means that your smoothies no matter how long you run the machine will have ice chunks in them, albeit very small. If you want a perfectly smooth smoothie then you’ll need to move up to either a Vitamix machine or a Margaritaville machine. The reason being is that the Vitamix machine produces blade speeds of up to 240 miles an hour, thereby handling any ice chunks no matter how small they may be and the Margaritaville machineMargaritaville DM0500 Bahamas Overview and Review.
